Sunday is here, blasted this tune a couple of times at work, bass and video complement each other. I know I influenced one or two with this track 😉 thats's plenty enough.
nExt week will be hardcore again, had a fun dance night out need some more. Need to play sometime especially when you have easing music in your ears while you work.
Today I mostly edited and created a structure with my clips to some Miles Davis tracks, music is such an important instrument. It helps my workflow and depending on my mood it will bring out certain ways of editing.
Bye the way, talked to an animator at lunch today, we discussed the process of ideas and why they often appear in strange places like the shower, you hardly come up with solutions on a regular basis but for some reason they do appear in the shower, waking up in the morning or when your about to fall asleep.
Speaking about ideas, I strongly recommend you to see "Barney's Version", excellent performances and witty dialogues wrapped up in a simple story.
These couple of weeks breathing has literally been hard to catch up on, hiding i the editing suite, listening to some old school music editing , grading and sculpting new ideas.
Happy Chinese New Year to everyone, it's the year of the Dragon, having some delicious Chinese food to celebrate with my family. I wish everyone happiness, health and prosperity. My heart goes out to everyone who can't spend it with their family and are far away .
A great inspiration of mine Bruce Lee was born in the year of the dragon, found a clip I used to watch over and over, I wise thing would be to apply his philosophy to Kun-fu to life itself, it is simply but still so difficult, to just be yourself, pure, honest and just water, I will be working on that.
Always like to take a little something to take out that bitchy side of me that 
all the guys I work with complain about 😉
Insomnia has hit my system, don't know why but I'm on it,( Like the angles in this video, simple, stylistic.
For now I will hit you with the ins and out at my gym;)
These couple of days I havent been as productive as I should have been, but lovers and family are important.
Just talked to "ze producer " today, things are looking up, many projects and a whole lot of creativity in the air, at the moment I'm re writing the script for the cow ad .
Deadlines are coming up so I better get to it or else there would be no movie 😉
Saw a great movie the other day with Woodies witty characters, good story, interesting scenarios, I think most people in a relationship can recognize certain traits from the characters, which is why I think it is a very well done story, it's not complicated very simple and concrete personalities.
As I always say time passes by so quickly, which is why i try to enjoy, every moment of it.
Even the ones that are wrong and sad. I choose to see this say as a fresh new start , past is the past, future is the way ahead and the present is a present wrapped just for you .
I can say that i have done so much this year that I hardly understand it and I can say there are so many things I forgot or I wish I could do, but time and place wasn't right.
Although the economy is falling, poverty is hitting harder then ever and the gap between classes once again is as vast as ever. Taking one step at a time and just have that dream or goal on your head , will take you one step closer, even if it seems impossible. Mind conquers everything in the end.
Its impossible to not be subdued to the cheesy sentimental Christmas holiday spirit. But it is what it is .
So now I am eager to work with more talented people travel more countries and just producing stories, which I hate to admit but it takes us on a journey out of our own day for just those minutes.
So all you out there, show those Maya calenders that we create our own journey and we will make this year as good as any if not better !

Yesterday I read a script my Fellow of producer handed me, I might co-direct the last scene will see. Looking forward to it. Working with different people is a passion mine.
